DDO, like many MMOs, implements slash commands. These are specific strings of text named for their leading character (the forward slash) which are interpreted as commands to the server, rather than as chat messages. To use a chat command, a player types it into the game's chat box exactly and with no extra characters, and then sends it.

List of Slash CommandsEdit

/p <message> - Sends <message> to party chat (instead of the default chat channel.)

/a <message> - Sends <message> to advice chat (instead of the default chat channel.)

/logout - Logs you out.

/showhelmet off - Hides your helmet.

/showhelmet on - Undoes the previous command.

/sit - You sit.

/sheathe - Hides your weapons until you change areas or attack again.

/dance - You dance.
