The Paladin (aka "Pally") class is built around goods and virtues, protecting those weaker then themselves, and the bettering of the world around them. Paladins are found in the melee category, as dealing damage is there main goal. Paladins have many notable features such as Lay on Hands, Remove Disease, Smite Evil and the ability to use Clerical spells.

Building a PaladinEdit
The paladin class is one that requires many stats to be powerful in the ways of combat and healing. The stats that are key to a successful paladin are strength and charisma. The strength stat is need to hit and deal out damage, while the charisma stat is needed to boost lay on hands and turn undead. While strength and charisma are important to a paladin, wisdom and constitution are also important to be able to cast spells more effectively and have a high total hit point count. All races are able to become paladins, however the human race is the most widely used because of their versatility, uses of all armor, and no stat reductions.
Skills of a PaladinEdit
Paladins are given 3 skills, these are heal, concentration, and diplomacy. The most used skills out of these for a paladin would be heal and concentration. Cross-class skills recommended to train are use magic device and intimidate.
Feats of a PaladinEdit
Feats given to paladins are: Attack, Aura of Courage (Level 3),  Aura of Good, Defensive Fighting, Divine Grace (Level 2),  Divine Health (Level 3),  Fear Immunity (Level 3),  Heavy Armor Proficiency, Lay on Hands (Level 2),  Light Armor Proficiency, Martial Weapon Proficiency, Medium Armor Proficiency, Power Attack, Remove Disease, Shield Mastery, Shield Proficiency (General), Simple Weapon Proficiency, Smite Evil, Sneak, Sunder, Trip, and  Turn Undead (Level 4).
A paladin's role in combat is a tank. Because they are given shield, and heavy armor proficiencies paladins should gear themselves with the best armor they can to have the highest possible armor class they can. The weapon choice of a paladin is a one-handed weapon, giving themselves the ability to wield a shield in the off hand slot. The typical weapon is the long sword, however a bastard sword is also useful if you are proficient in that weapon. The role a paladin may also take up in combat is a cleric because they are given clerical spells and lay on hands they are able to heal themselves and others when the situation is dire. However, due to their few spell points and lay on hands per rest, it is not recommended to rely solely on a paladin for healing.
